Stand out on social media

Is your company wanting to stand out on social media? It seems to be getting harder and harder to stand out on social media these days. With millions of different companies trying to achieve the same goal, it can be difficult to stand out from the crowd. There are many different types of social networks. The most popular sites are Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and Pinterest. To stand out on social media, your company should pick the social media networks that would work best to reach your target audience. The key is to not sign up for every social media network just because you think your company should be on each one for maximum exposure. It is best to utilize the ones that will be a benefit to you and your customers. Now, here are four ways to stand out on social media:

Reply to Posts

This should be a no-brainer. It is so important to answer every question, comment, and interaction. This shows your followers that you are actually willing to engage with them instead of just posting. It is also imperative that you put some thought into your responses. Get to know more about the person who reached out so you can better tailor a response that will fit their needs.

Be Visual

People are much more likely to read your post if you post a visual with it. In fact, your content will receive 94% more views if you post a relevant image with your content, according to hubspot.com. This statistic should show you that it is crucial for your company to post relevant images when the opportunity presents itself. Think about your personal social media accounts — aren’t you more likely to read something if there is an image that goes with the article or blog? I would assume your answer is yes. Now think of your business social media accounts. Your followers are also more likely to read what you’re posting if there is a visual paired with it.

Be Current

Try and be up to date on current trends. Maybe take a different approach to a trending topic so your company stands out with a different perspective from other companies. Being current is very important because no one — I repeat: no one — wants so read an out-of-date article or blog post. Keeping current also shows your followers that your company truly cares about what is happening in their industry.

Get to Know Your Audience

Make an effort to learn about your followers. This way you can customize posts that will interest your followers. Getting to know your followers will help you gauge what they are interested in learning about and help your company stand out from others.

Remember these four tricks when posting on social media and you are sure to stand out from the rest. Keep it simple and to the point. Only post on channels that will benefit your company and customers. And don’t be afraid to try something new. Just remember: the goal is to stand out!
